When you consider the time involved in selling a home yourself, hiring a real estate professional may be the best money you will ever spend. They are in the business of promptly selling homes for the best price, and often times handling situations that you have probably never encountered, or even thought could occur.

Setting the right price- Inaccurate pricing, too high or too low, can turn away potential buyers or leave you short changed. Real Estate professionals will have readily available to them current market information in order to appropriately price the home for sale. They also know which features will increase or decrease your property’s value, and how much they are worth in your market place.

Play up its curb appeal, keep the yard tidy and well manicured, clean the windows and the screens, polish the doorknob and knocker, and be sure the doorbell works. Clean up the attic, basement, and closets, that will highlight the available storage space, not to mention make your move a lot easier.
